Objektif utama diadakan sambutan Bulan Kemerdekaan ini selain daripada menyahut seruan Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia, ia juga adalah bagi memupuk semangat patriotisme dan cintakan negara. Perpaduan dan kerjasama serta sikap berdaya saing juga dapat dilihat melalui aktiviti dan pertandingan yang telah dilaksanakan.
Majlis Penutupan Bulan Kemerdekaan 2017 Sekolah Kebangsaan Desa Pinggiran Putra telah disambut meriah oleh seluruh warga sekolah dengan aturcara yang menarik serta penyampaian hadiah yang telah disempurnakan oleh Tuan Guru Besar, Encik Sukimin bin Juki. Semoga dengan penganjurannya kita dapat menghayati erti kemerdekaan dan perjuangan yang sebenar dalam konteks kehidupan. Sekian, MERDEKA!MERDEKA!MERDEKA!
